Section 1: Horticulture Classes
Paper plates will be supplied for classes 1 - 4.
1. Tomatoes, 5 cherry variety, calyx on, named
2. Tomatoes, 5 plum variety , calyx on, named
3. Tomatoes, 3 slicing variety, calyx on, named
4. Beans, 6 pods, any variety, named
5. Swiss Chard, 3 leaves, displayed in a transparent glass to show stems, named
6. Collection 3 varieties fresh cut herbs, in separate containers, 1-3 stems of each, named
7. Longest zucchini, named
8. Garlic, 3 bulbs, trim tops to 1 inch and roots to 1/2 inch, named
9. Ornamental grass, 1 cultivar, 3 stems, named
10. Cosmos, 3 sprays, named
11. Hydrangea any colour, 1 stem, named
13. Zinnia, 1 bloom, any color, any variety, named
14. Dahlia, 1 bloom, any color, any variety, named

Section 2: Design Classes
1. Group of Friends: Use three clear vases grouped together. Place a single flower stem and 1 stem of foliage in each vase to make a pleasing arrangement. Try varying the heights and colors to make a pretty design.
2. Just the Leaves: A foliage design using dried and/or fresh cut foliage. No flowers allowed. Table space max 60cm ( 24”).
3. Everlasting: A dried miniature design. Max directions no more than 12.5cm (5”) in height, width and depth including any container, base and /or accessories. See page 145 O.J.E.S.2019 judging and Exhibiting Standards. Niches provided 15cm x 15cm (6”x6”).
4. September Treasures: Design a wreath for a table centerpiece using seasonal fresh plant material e.g. hydrangea, strawflower, celosia. Use a wire frame.
5. London 200 Years (Bicentennial): Design a pressed flower card using pressed flowers and leaves. Include verse and envelope.
